Uses and Benefits:

Berries make bitter but vitamin-rich jellies and traditional liquors. The wood is tough and elastic, historically used for tool handles and walking sticks.

Fun facts:

Warding off witches? Rowan was planted by doors for protection.

Berries have more vitamin C than oranges!

Called "the traveler's tree" for preventing fatigue (myth or not?).
